First, not that it's news anymore but during all of the "Royal Wedding" hullabaloo I, of course, thought to myself-"why should Americans care about the royal wedding?" I found my answer here .
Second, it's suppose to get down to 45 tonight. FORTY-FIVE!! In Texas, in May. This makes me unbelievable happy.
And third, Jonah Lehrer's article on the correlation between ones social network and obesity. Something to consider.

Really interesting article about obesity! I wonder if those principles can be applied in the reverse... would be exposed to really skinny pictures (say, of someone with anorexic habits) induce you to take on the habits that lead to that unhealthy weight?
Mmm... like anorexia and the fashion industry?
I can relate to this. When I see an obese person in line at Starbucks, a little part of me thinks, "Well, there's no way me ordering that scone is going to get me as fat as them. I can afford it. Go ahead."
